Campsite report: Chaelundi campground, Guy Fawkes River National Park, NSW

Get woken up by birds at the quiet and family friendly Chaelundi campground

Chaelundi campground is a great spot next to Chaelundi Creek. It is located in a remote area of Guy Fawkes River National Park and was nearly empty when I visited. You will spot many different birds on the campground and bushwalks. Enjoy a nice campfire with the family or mates. There are also several bushwalks to lookouts and a waterfall. The Lucifer’s Thumb/ Chaelundi Buff lookout is a must-do item as it offers you breathtaking views over the Guy Fawkes valley. After a day of bushwalking, you can cool down in the creek.

    1. Thanks Milly 🙂
Your website is a great source of information too 🙂 Feel free to contact me if you need material for Digital Nomads 🙂

      1. PS – Chaelundi was awesome! So remote, and the little hikes (Lucifer’s Thumb & Chaelundi Falls) were totally unreal. 100% hoping that spot is kept a secret for atleast another few years!
